HAMMON rites Tuesday

Gladys P. HAMMON, 87, former resident of Fairfield, died at 1 a.m. today at a hospital in Aurora, Ill.

Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Evergreen Cemetery where burial wil take place. The Rev. William Sullivan will officiate. Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening.

Gladys P. HAMMON was born Nov. 18, 1894, in Galesburg, Ill. She was the daughter of William and Nettie PAUL.

She was married to James HAMMON in Fairfield who died in 1943. She was retired in 1972 from the Conrad Hilton Hotel.

Mrs. HAMMON is survived by a daughter, Vivian ZEPP, Batavia, Ill., three grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
