Mrs. HAMILTON Dies Suddenly

Death came suddenly last night to Mrs. Milo HAMILTON, 63, well-known resident of the Fairfield community and former long-time employe at the Jefferson county court house.

She became ill at her home, 53 North D, about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night and summoned her doctor. An ambulance was called to take her to the hospital but she succumbed about the time it arrived at the house.

Mrs. HAMILTON began her work in the county auditor's office Jan. 1, 1943, and retired Dec. 31, 1960. She was a member of the Methodist church.

Cleo M. HAMILTON was born Nov. 18, 1901. She was married to Milo M. HAMILTON on Feb. 10, 1926, at Seymour, Iowa. He preceded his wife in death on May 20, 1961.

Mrs. HAMILTON is survived by one son, L. Milo HAMILTON, Park Ridge, Ill.; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 2 p.m. in the First Methodist church. The Rev. James W. Dendler will be in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

HAMILTON Rites Will Be Friday

Funeral services for Mrs. Milo HAMILTON will be Friday at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist church with the Rev. James Dendler officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. HAMILTON died suddenly about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home of a heart attack. The body is at the Weston Behner funeral home.

Cleo Donald (sic) HAMILTON, daughter of J. M. and Myrtle DONALD BLOUGH, was born Nov. 18, 1901. Her mother passed away about two weeks following her birth, and she was adopted by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John DONALD, Seymour, Iowa.

She was united in marriage to Milo M. HAMILTON on Feb. 10, 1926. He preceded his wife in death in 1961. Mrs. HAMILTON was also preceded in death by five brothers, all sons of her adopted parents.

Mrs. HAMILTON is survived by one son, L. Milo HAMILTON; two grandchildren, Patti Joy and Mark, of Park Ridge, Ill. She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Alice NOBLE, and a brother, Wayne DONALD, both of Des Moines.

Other survivors include two half-brothers, John and Joe BLOUGH, Fairfield; along with several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. HAMILTON was a member of the Methodist church; Chapter C, PEO; Eastern Star and Gray Ladies of Jefferson county. For many years she was employed in the county auditor's office at the Jefferson county court house.

Recently she had been hired as a receptionist at the Jefferson county hospital.

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Cleo M. HAMILTON, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Above Entitled Estate:

You are hereby notitified that the administrator of the above entitled estate; that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the clerk of the above named district court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance, and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
