HAMILTON dies at 75

Gene HAMILTON, 75, resident of Fairfield for the past 40 years, died at 7:45 p.m. Thursday at the Jefferson County Hospital. He had been ill the past several months.

Services are pending at the Behner Funeral Home.

Gene HAMILTON was born Nov. 1, 1905, at Grinnell. He was the son of Alfred and Kittie MOORE HAMILTON.

He was married to Dora SINKLER in 1932 at Rock Island, Ill. He was employed at the Louden Machinery Company for over 27 years prior to his retirement. The family home is at 308 E. Hempstead.

In addition to his widow, HAMILTON is survived by two daughters: Marian DAVIS, Urbandale, and Nan ALLEN, Ames; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Services for Gene HAMILTON

Services for Gene HAMILTON, 75, will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. James Battey officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

HAMILTON died Thursday evening at the Jefferson County Hospital following an illness of several months. The family home is at 308 E. Hempstead.
