Editors Ledger:--Ann MACY was born in Ohio September 16th, 1816, and died at her home near Birmingham November 14th, 1901. She was married to Samuel HALL April 18th, 1833. Eleven children were born to them, all of whom lived to years of maturity. The husband, two sons and two daughters preceded her to their future home. Of the seven children who survive five were permitted to be with her in her last sickness. She united with the Methodist Protestant church in 1856, and continued within the pale of that church until death took her. The funeral was held at the home near Birmingham, and her remains were interred in the cemetery at Fairfield. Rev. J. B. Eyestone of Libertyville conducted the services.
