Mrs. Vern HALL Dies In Sleep

Mrs. Vern HALL, long-time resident of Fairfield, was found dead in bed this morning at her apartment, 201 E. Broadway.

When she failed to get up at the usual time, neighbors notified her son, William HALL, Fairfield. He forced open the door to her apartment and found her dead in bed.

Dr. C. F. Watson, county medical examiner, said Mrs HALL died of natural causes. He estimated her death at about 2 a.m.

The body was taken to the Weston Behner Funeral home where last rites are pending.

Rites Tuesday For Mrs. HALL

Mrs. Emma HALL, 73, passed away Saturday morning at 2 a.m. in her home, 201 E. Broadway. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in charge of Rev. Edward M. Esler. Burial in Eveergreen cemetery.

She was born Sept. 12, 1892 in Jefferson county the daughter of William and Minnie BALDERSON HALFERTY. She was married March 24, 1914 to Vern R. HALL who preceded her in death July 18, 1962.

Mrs. HALL moved to Fairfield three years ago and has spent her entire life in Jefferson county. She was a member of the Presbytrian church in Fairfield.

She is survived by one son, William H. HALL of Fairfield and three grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Edith BROWN, Riverside, Calif.; Mrs. Charles L. DALEY, Marlow, Okla. and Mrs. Mae JOHNSON of Fairfield.

Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
