Shirley HAHN, 66, 1004 S. Main St., died at 3:40 a.m. today, Monday, Sept. 25, 1995, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

Arrangements are pending at Behner Funeral Home.

Shirley Marilyn HAHN

The service for Shirley Marilyn HAHN, 66, 1004 S. Main St., who died at 3:50 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, 1995, at University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. William Sullivan officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The rosary will be recited at 4 p.m. today at Behner Funeral Home, where prayers for a Christian wake will begin at 6 p.m., followed by a visitation from 7 to 8. Memorials have been established to the American Cancer Fund, Masses, the Fairfield High School Band Uniform Fund, and the Cancer Closet.

Mrs. HAHN was born Aug. 5, 1929, in Ottumwa, the daughter of Edward R. and Leora GIVEN WEIRBACH. On Sept. 11, 1947, she married Harold Francis HAHN in Lancaster, Mo. He died July 11, 1974. A homemaker, she had lived in the Fairfield community for 28 years. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church Altar and Rosary Society, and was a Girl Scout leader. Her hobbies were sewing and country music.

Surviving are five sons, Charles, John C., Harold F. Jr., James D., all of Fairfield, William J. of Quincy, Ill.; four daughters, Linda Sue NICELY, Jean DOROTHY, Sandra Lee DAVISSON, all of Fairfield, Carrie I. HAHN of Marion; 15 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Dick WEIRBACH and Bob WEIRBACH, both of Ottumwa; two sisters, Norma EMERSON and Jean COCHRAN, both of Fairfield. Her parents preceded her in death.
