MRS. JAMES E. HAGANS

Tola Marie, second of the five children of J. W. and Velma WILSON was born on March 25, 1891, in Jefferson county, Iowa, on a farm northwest of Fairfield. On April 21, 1900 she was married to James E. HAGENS (sic) and had lived happily in that union since. One child, Eva, was born to them and she survives. The sorrowing loved ones are her husband and daughter, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. WILSON a sister Mrs. Charles JUNKIN and a brother Glen WILSON all of Fairfield. These with other relatives and friends will mourn her passing. Two brothers have preceded her in death. Ray, an infant who died in 1890 and Owen who passed away in 1918.

Mrs. HAGENS (sic) had been sick just over a year and has been a patient sufferer. For the past six months she has been gradually getting worse. All that medical skill and loving care could do for her failed to restore her health and she passed quietly away at the University Hospital in Iowa City Thursday morning, August 30, 1934 at midnight, when past 43 years of age.

Funeral services were held from the Hoskins Funeral Home conducted by Rev. S. P. Williamson, minister of the First Christian church of Fairfield, and the remains interred in Evergreen cemetery.
