Former Local Woman Succumbs At Seattle

Word has been received that a former Fairfield resident, Mrs. Charlotte GUSTISON, 82, passed away at the Columbus hospital in Seattle, Washington, last week from injuries suffered by a fall (sic - died August 12th). Funeral services at the Bonney-Watson chapel with cremation following.

Mrs. GUSTISON, widow of Anthony GUSTISON, was born near Fairfield and had been a resident of Seattle for 21 years. She was a long time member of the Methodist church. Memorial services will be held here at a later date.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Myrtle GUSTISON GATES; two sisters, Mrs. Alex MONSON, formerly of Fairfield and now residing at Los Angeles, Mrs. Jerry BATES of Salina; two brothers, John E. ANDERSON of Corina, Iowa, and Albert ANDERSON of Lockridge.

Note: Buried in Evergreen Cemetery, Fairfield, IA, in Lot 3rd.022. Husband Anthony had moved to Phoenix, AZ, in 1913, lived there for the better part of two years, died May 15, 1915, and was buried there.
