Walford GUSTASON, retired molder at the Iowa Malleable Iron Co. died this morning at his home at 404 S. Sixth street after a short illness. He was 66.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of Rev. George Meyers. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
GUSTSON was employed by the Iowa Malleable Iron Co. for more than 30 years prior to his retirement. He was a member of the Baptist church.
GUSTASON was born at Dalsbo Fluhuit, Sweden, April 15, 1887, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Gustav JOHNSON. He was married to Beatrice BOVEE March 23, 1921 at Amberg Wis.
He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Dorothy BOYCE, Des Moines; James GUSTASON, Mrs. Ethel Mae CHAMP, and David GUSTASON, all of Fairfield.
Six grandchildren and one brother and sister, both residents of Sweden, also survive. Two sons Quentin, who lost his life in World War II, and Walford E., preceded him in death.

HISEL, died in 1983, and was buried with Walford. Their son John Quentin GUSTASON has a memorial inscription on their stone, however his body was never recovered.
