Owen GRIFFITTS

Owen GRIFFITTS, 21 years old, died at the Jefferson County hospital this morning at 3 o'clock, after an illness of a week of pneumonia. The body is now at Hoskins' funeral home. Services will be held at the Baptist church Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Fred G. Crown, the pastor, and interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. GRIFFITTS was born June 18, 1909, and is the son of Mr. and Mrs. James M. GRIFFITTS, 901 West Grimes street. The parents and the following brothers and sisters survive: Mrs. Emmett SCHLARBAUM, James, David, Craven, Gillis, Iola and Colonel GRIFFITTS of Fairfield, Emanuel GRIFFITTS of Waynesburg, Ky.; Mrs. Add PARCELL of Brighton, Mrs. Willis ROMINE of Monmouth, Ill.; Richard GRIFFITTS of Rosedale, Ill., and Mrs. Frances BURTIS of Wichita, Kans.
