Last Rites Tomorrow For Mrs. GRIFFITTS

Last rites for Nancy Jane GRIFFITTS, local resident who passed away at noon yesterday, will be held at the Baptist church Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in charge of Rev. M. S. Ellick. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. GRIFFITTS died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Emmett SCHLARBAUM, 600 South Sixth street, following a two and a half months' illness.

She was born May 12, 1875 in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Alvus and Mary POWERS. She had lived in Fairfield the past 20 years, moving here from Roseville, Illinois. Her husband passed away in 1933.

Mrs. GRIFFITTS is survived by the following children: Mrs. SCHLARBAUM, James, Craven, and Colonel, all of Fairfield; Emanuel, Kinger Mountain, Ky.; David, Hillsdale, Mich.; Gillis, Galesburg, Ill.; Viola HOSIER, Galesburg; two step-daughters, Mary PARCELL, Brighton; and Eunice ROMINE, Monmouth, Ill.

Two half-brothers, G. J. KIDD, Marion, Ohio, and C. KIDD, Kings Mountain, Ky., also survive.
