Mrs. GRIFFITH Dies Suddenly

Mrs. Carl GRIFFITH, Lincoln, Neb., died suddenly Friday night at her home in Lincoln, according to word received by local relatives.

Mrs. GRIFFITH was a sister-in-law of A. C. FREDERICKS of Fairfield. Services will be held Tuesday at the Raymond Funeral home.

GRIFFITH Rites Here Tuesday

Mrs. Carl GRIFFITH, 68, former resident of this community, passed away suddenly Friday evening at her home in Lincoln, Nebr. The body was scheduled to arrive in Fairfield today for last rites and burial.

The casket will be taken to the Raymond funeral home where services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. DST, in charge of the Rev. Elton Coleman of Libertyville. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Ila GRIFFITH was born Feb. 1, 1892, near Pleasant Plain, the daughter of Dayton and Olive McINTIRE GREESON. She was reared and educated in the Pleasant Plain community.

Mr. and Mrs. GRIFFITH celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Aug. 6. A. C. FREDERICK, 202 North B street, a brother-in-law, went to Lincoln to help celebrate the occasion.

Mrs. GRIFFITH, a member of the Methodist church, was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother.

She is survived by her husband, and two daughters, Mrs. Hazel HILDE, Lincoln, Nebr.; and Mrs. Pauline KLING, Freeport, Ill. She is also survived by five grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a brother, Berdell GREESON, Rockford, Ill.
