MRS. GREENFIELD DIED THIS A. M.

Funeral Services To Be Held Tomorrow at 2:00 From Butler Funeral Home

Mrs. James GREENFIELD passed away this morning at 6 oclock after an illness of 10 years duration. She has been seriously ill since September. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 oclock from the Butler Funeral home. Interment will be made in the evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. GREENFIELD is survived by her husband and the following children, Leonard and Orrie of this city, Emry of Washington, Iowa and Truman of Kalamazoo, Mich. One son Edward died in infancy.

The following were here to attend the funeral of Mrs. James GREENFIELD: Mr. and Mrs. E. E. GREENFIELD, Willard GREENFIELD of Rock Island; Mr. and Mrs. W. S. GREENFIELD of Birmingham; John HEIDRICKS (sic) of Eldon Mr. and Mrs. Ross GREENFIELD and Mrs. Elizabeth MARROW (sic - MORROW) and son of Douds-Leando; Mr. and Mrs. Charlie GREENFIELD of Birmingham; Mr. and Mrs. Jasper Barthleow (sic - Barthelow) of Douds; Mrs. Matt KNOPP and Mrs. Frank BONNACK (sic - BANACH) and Clarence of East Pleasant Plain, Iowa.

OBITUARY

RACHEL REBECCA HENDRICKS

Rachel Rebecca HENDRICKS was born in Van Buren county, Iowa, Sept 8, 1860 and passed peacefully away at 6 a.m., April 7, 1926. Mrs. GREENFIELD was a great sufferer for the last ten years although she was seriously ill since last September. Everything that medical science and loving hands could do but it was all in vain and she passed to the land where there is no suffering and sorrow.

Mrs. GREENFIELD was a loving, devoted wife and mother to her family and grandchildren. She was converted in early girlhood to the Lutheran church and then later on she joined the Adventists church and although too ill to attend she was a faithful followier in her Lord and Master which she believed in till the last.

She was united in marriage to James GREENFIELD February 17, 1880 and to this union were born five children. Edward, dying in infancy. Ora and Leonard of this city Emery of Washington, Truman of Kalamazoo, Mich. She also leaves seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She leaves besides her immediate family a host of friends and neighbors who will remember her for her kind and loving disposition.

The services were held from the Butler funeral home, conducted by Rev. Voorhies. She was tenderly laid to rest in the beautiful Evergreen cemtery. The floral pieces were many and beautiful.

Truman GREENFIELD was unable to get here for the funeral.

We wish to thank the friends and neighbors who were so kind to us ding the illness and death of Mother GREENFIELD.
