O. GREENFIELD DIES FRIDAY

Ora J. GREENFIELD, 65, well known Fairfield resident, passed away Friday at 4:45 p.m. at the Washington county hospital. He had been seriously ill for the past two months.

Last rites will be held Monday at 2:00 p.m. at the Weston Behner funeral home Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. GREENFIELD was born March 9, 1881, in Van Buren county, the son of James and Rachel GREENFIELD. A carpenter and contractor by trade, Mr. GREENFIELD lived in this community most all of his life.

Surviving are his father, his wife, and three sons, Willard and Richard, both of Renton, Washington; and Wesley, Fairfield. Three brothers, Emery, Cape Girarden, Illinois; Truman, Fort Dodge; and Leonard , Fairfield (sic); and seven grandchildren, also survive.
