Weslie G. GREENFIELD, 84, of 50 S. Eighth St., died at 6:24 p.m. Wednesday, May 25, 1994, at Jefferson County Hospital.
He was born March 12, 1910, in Fairfield, the son of Ora and Bessie JONES GREENFIELD. He married Geraldine MEYERS (sic - JOHNSON) on Feb. 29 (sic - 27), 1929, in Fairfield.
GREENFIELD lived most of his life in Fairfield. He was employed as a foreman at Loudens Machinery Co. for 48 years before his retirement.
Surviving are his wife; one son, Weslie Lavern GREENFIELD of Moline, Ill.; one daughter, Linda WILLIAMS of Crawfordsville; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. He was preceded in death by two sons, Larry and Leonard; and four brothers, Julian in infancy, Williard (sic), Richard and Fred.
The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home, the Rev. Fred Bickhart officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Family visitation is from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in his name.

GREENFIELD, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 31ST DAY OF OCTOBER, 1979, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT WESLIE L. GREENFIELD, A/K/A WESLEY L. GREENFIELD WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF THE ESTATE. ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE THE WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN THE LATER TO OCCUR OF FOUR MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE OR ONE MONTH FROM THE DATE OF MAILING OF THIS NOTICE TO ALL HEIRS OF THE DECEDENT AND DEVISEES UNDER THE WILL WHOSE IDENTITIES ARE REASONABLE ASCERTAINABLE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
