Mrs. Leonard R. GREENFIELD, 74, died at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday at her home, 613 S. Second, following an illness of about two years.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with Father Karl Holtkamp officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited Friday evening at 8 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home.
Gertrude Marie GREENFIELD was born Jan. 4, 1898, at Brighton, the daughter of Matthew and Mary BISKEY KNOPP.
She was married Oct. 11, 1921, to Leonard R. GREENFIELD at East Pleasant Plain, and had lived in this community for over 60 years. Mrs. GREENFIELD was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church, Altar and Rosary Society.
Survivors include her husband and two daughters, Mary LOVING, Davenport; and Ruth PISTOLE, Jensen Beach, Fla. Also surviving are five grandchildren, two sisters and one brother, Mrs. Bernice MAC KINNON and Mrs. Angeline SCHOO, Cincinnati, Ohio, and Leonard KNOPP, San Francisco.
She was preceded in death by one sister and one brother.
