Henrietta GRABER, 95, former Fairfield resident, died Wednesday morning, April 7, 1993, at Heritage Oaks Nursing Home in Arlington, Texas.
The service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. richard Wallarab officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials have been established to Iowa Heart Association, American Cancer Society, and Eastern Star.
Mrs. GRABER was born March 26, 1898, in Orange City, the daughter of Lambert and Jacoba VanderWAA VAN OLST. She married Dr. Harold E. GRABER on March 6, 1925. He died Dec. 24, 1970. She had worked as a nurse in Fairfield, retiring in 1963. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Inverness, Fla., where she had lived for 20 years, Eastern Star, Republican Women's Committee, University of Iowa and Northwestern college alumni associations, and was a past president of the Women's Club.
Surviving are two daughters, Jacqueline MADISON-KORNEGAY of Arlington, Joan LAWSON of Clifton, Va.; a son, Harold F. of Silver Spring, Md.; 13 grandchildren; a great-grandchild and a sister, Myrtle WILLSIE of Colorado Springs, Colo. A daughter, Eileen KUEHL, two sisters, and two brothers preceded her in death.
