Mrs. GRABER Dies

Mrs. Fred GRABER of Stockport, about 63, the mother of two alumni of the university, Dr. Harold GRABER of Fairfield and the late Dr. Vern C. GRABER, died at her home in Stockport yesterday. Both her sons were graduates of the college of medicine.

WOMAN DIES AT STOCKPORT

Rites for Wife of First Physician to Practice There Held Today

Special To The Hawk-Eye Gazette.

Bonaparte, Ia., Sept. 20.--Mrs. Alice GRABER, past 60, wife of Dr. F. J. GRABER, veteran Stockport physician, died suddenly at her home in Stockport Saturday at 11 a.m.

The former Alice MILLER of Birmingham, she and her husband had resided in Stockport more than 40 years. Dr. GRABER was the first physician to practice in Stockport.

Mrs. GRABER is survived by her husband, one son, Dr. Harold GRABER of Fairfield, three granddaughters and one grandson. Another son, Dr. Vern GRABER, preceded his mother in death.

A short funeral service was held at the home in Stockport today and burial was in Fairfield cemetery (sic - Evergreen Cemetery in Fairfield).

Fairfield, Ia. -- Funeral services for Mrs. Alice May GRABER, 72, of Stockport, Ia., who died at her home Saturday will be held this afternoon at Stockport.

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Fred GRABER, and one son, Dr. Harold G. GRABER of Fairfield. Burial will be at Fairfield.

MRS. GRABER, 71, DIES SATURDAY

Service This Afternoon For Wife Of Well-Known Physician

Mrs. Alice May GRABER, 72 wife of Dr. Fred GRABER, long time resident of Stockport died at 11:20 a.m. Saturday in her home there. Her death came unexpectedly.

Mrs. GRABER is survived by her husband; a son Dr. Harold E. GRABER, of Fairfield; four grandchildren; a brother, David A. MILLER of Birmingham; and a daughter-in-law, Mrs. May GRABER of Iowa City, widow of Dr. Vern GRABER.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. today in the GRABER home in Stockport with the Rev. Mr. Mays of the Friends church officiating. Burial was in Evergreen cemetery, Fairfield.
