Former Birmingham Man Passes Away

W. C. GOODSON, 70, passed away this morning at his home in Kirksville, Mo. following an illness of several months. Mr. GOODSON was reared at Birmingham and lived there for several years. He is the brother-in-law of Mrs. Fred RAINS and Mrs. Will CUPP of Fairfield and Earl SCOTT of Birmingham.

He is survived by his wife, the former Ella (sic - Etta) SCOTT, and one brother and three sisters.

The body will be taken to the Pedrick Funeral Home tomorrow at Douds and funeral services will be held at the Weston Behner Funeral Home in Fairfield on Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Burial will be in the Evergreen cemetery.

... --Among the out of town people attending the funeral services held Saturday afternoon for William GOODSON at the Behner Funeral Home were Mr. and Mrs. Earl SCOTT of Birmingham, Mr. and Mrs. F. M. EGAN, Mr. and Mrs. C. E. WESTFALL, and Ms. Alta CRAFF all of Des Moines, Mrs. Cora STENGZ (sic - STENTZ) and Mrs. Josephine SIMONS (sic - SIMMONS) of Kansas City, and Maxine CUPP of Burlington. Unable to be present was Mr. GOODSON's brother, E. O. GOODSON of Toledo, Ohio.
