MRS. JAMES GOODSON ANSWERS SUMMONS

Mrs. James GOODSON died at her home on South D street yesterday afternoon at three o'clock after a several months illness with a complication of diseases. The family moved here from Birmingham about a year ago.

Rebecca SHAGLEY, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James SHAGLEY, was born September 19th, 1851, on a farm three miles east of Birmingham, and in 1872 was married to James S. GODSON at Brmingham (sic). The family had always resided at Birmingham until their removal to this city.

To Mr. and Mrs. GOODSON were born the following children who survive the mother: W. C. GOODSON, of Kirksville, Mo.; E. O. GOODSON of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Alta CRAFT (sic - CRAFF), of Oskalosa (sic); Mrs. Cora STENTZ, of Kansas City; Mrs. Madge MURPHY of St. Joe, Mo., and Mrs. Josephine NORRIS of this city. Besides her children she is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Sadie DAVIS and Mary SHAGLEY of Washington State, and James SHAGLEY of Oklahoma City, Okla., and Will and Chester SHAGLEY of Esbon, Kansas.

Mrs. GOODSON was a kind and affectionate mother and will be very greatly missed by the husband and children, as well as the other relatives and a host of friends. She was a member of the Methodist church at Birmingham and had always been active in church work.

The funeral will be held from the home on South D street tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. W. R. Keesey of the Methodist church of which she ilhc.o,ia church (sic) and burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. James GOODSON

Mrs. James GOODSON passed away at her home Tuesday afternoon. She has been in poor health for a long time and her death was not unexpected.

Rebecca SHAGLEY was born on a farm near Birmingham September 19, 1851. She was united in marriage with James GOODSON in 1872. They made their home in Birmingham until about one year ago when they moved to this city.

She is survived by her husband and the following children: W. C. GOODSON of Kirksville, Mo.; E. O. GOODSON of Toledo, Ohio; Mrs. Alta CRAFT (sic) of Oskaloosa; Mrs. Cora STENTZ of Kansas City; Mrs. Madge MURPHY of St. Joseph, Mo. and Mrs. Josephine NORRIS of this city. Three brothers and two sisters also survive her.

Funeral services are to be held from the home this afternoon in charge of Rev. W. R. Keesey. Interment will be made in Evergreen cemetery.
