MRS. GOODELL PASSED AWAY AT HOSPITAL

Fairfield woman taken seriously ill at her home yesterday

Flora Mae GOODELL, 205 East Monroe street, died this morning at 10:45 at the Jefferson county hospital. She had been in failing health for the past several years and became seriously ill yesterday. She was taken to this hospital this morning where she passed away shortly after.

She was born August 11, 1879, in Illinois. She leaves her husband, Charles GOODELL, and one son, LaVern GOODELL, both of South Gate, California.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Letha COURTNEY, Fairfield, and Mrs. Cecil ESTES, Ollie; three brothers, Roland FOSTER, Portland, Oregon; Thomas FOSTER, also of Portland; and David FOSTER, of Bell, California; two sisters, Mrs. Sam STRECKER Fairview, Ill., and Miss Beulah BOND, Fairfield; and four grandchildren.

The body was taken to the Hoskins funeral home pending funeral arrangements.

Last Rites For Mrs. GOODELL To Be Tuesday Afternoon

Funeral services for Flora Mae GOODELL will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Hoskins funeral home. Burial wil be in the Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. GOODELL passed away at the Jefferson county hospital last Friday morning where she had been a patient for a short time. She had been in failing health for the past several years and became seriously ill Thursday.
