Mrs. Jacob GOEHNER Dead.

Mrs Jacob GOEHNER passed quietly to the Great Beyond Sunday afternoon about four o'clock at her home on East Madison street after only a few days illness. There was perhaps no resident of the city who was so well known and so universally liked as was "Grandma" GOEHNER. She was a life long member of Saint Marys Catholic church of this city.

She is survived by her aged husband and one son, John, beside a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock from Saint Mary's Catholic church. Father Hogan will have charge of the last services.

Mrs. GOEHNER Is Dead.

Salome KLEISLE, wife of Jacob GOEHNER, died in this city Sunday afternoon, after a week's illness from a disease of the heart. Mrs. GOEHNER was born at Wendelshein, Wurtemburg, Germany, October 22d, 1825. She came to the United States in 1856, and was married May 15th, 1857. Three children were born of this marriage, only one of whom is now living, John GOEHNER of this city. The family came to Fairfield in 1867. Mrs. GOEHNER was an active, industrious, thrifty woman, a kindly neighbor and a devoted friend. She had many acquaintances in Fairfield and her death will be very generally regretted. A wide measure of sympathy will go out to the aged husband. Funeral services were held at St. Mary's Catholic church this morning at 10 o'clock, conducted by Rev. H. J. Hogan.
