MRS. FRED GOEHNER DIED IN CHICAGO.

Word has been received here of the death of Mrs. Fred GOEHNER, who passed away yesterday after noon at two o'clock in a hospital in Chicago, Ill., where she has been very ill for several weeks.

Mrs. GOEHNER was formerly Miss Vermuth (sic - Vermith) SHERMAN and was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert SHERMAN, of Birmingham. Besides her parents she is survived by four sisters and her husband and an infant daughter.

The remains will be brought here today for burial.

Many friends will extend their sympathy to the sorrowing family at this time.

MRS. FRED GOEHNER IS BURIED HERE.

The funeral services for Mrs. Fred GOEHNER, who passed away Monday afternoon at the Douglas Park Hospital in Chicago, Ill., after an illness of ten weeks, was held yesterday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. T. A. SHERMAN, in Birmingham. Rev. Crowther had charge of the services. The remains were brought to this city and interred in the GOEHNER lot in Evergreen cemetery. A short service was held at the grave.

The infant daughter, Bettye Lou, who is made motherless by the death of Mrs. GOEHNER, is being care for by Mr. GOEHNER's mother, Mrs. Sadie GOEHNER. Mrs. GOEHNER will leave Saturday for Chicago with her son and his little daughter, and will take care of their home there.

Mrs. Fred GOEHNER passed away Monday afternoon at two o'clock at a hospital in Chicago after an illness of over two months.

Mrs. GOEHNER was formerly Miss Vermith SHERMAN, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bert SHERMAN of Birmingham and the remains were brought back to her home where funeral services were held yesterday afternoon. Interment was made in Evergreen cemetery.

She is survived by her parents four sisters, her husband and infant daughter.
