GILLAND rites to be Friday

Services for Jeffery D. GILLAND, 18, Davenport, will be at 1 p.m. Friday at the Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. Kerry Hatfield will officiate and burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

GILLAND died at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital in Davenport (note: in Scott Co., IA). A hospital spokesman said GILLAND was in critical condition when he was admitted Dec. 20 and remained in critical condition until his death.

Robert (sic - Jeffery) D. GILLAND was born Oct. 2, 1966, in Fort Madison. He is survived by his father, Robert GILLAND; and his mother, Janit HARPER, both of Davenport.

Other survivors include two brothers, Todd GILLAND, Davenport; and Chad GILLAND; also a sister, Melanie GILLAND, Davenport; and his grandmother, Margurite GILLAND, Fort Madison.
