Paul S. GILBERT Dies Suddenly

Paul S. GILBERT, 54, died suddenly about 6:15 p.m. Tuesday at his farm on rural route 2 north of Fairfield.

Last rites will be Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. David Kennedy officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Paul S. GILBERT was born July 28, 1915, on the same farm where he passed away. He was the son of William D. and Emma May STANLEY GILBERT. He was reared and educated in Jefferson County and graduated from the Fairfield High School.

His marriage to Edith BURGER took place on Dec. 2, 1941, at Princeton, Ill. He was a member of the Antioch Church and spent his entire life in that community.

Survivors include his wife, one daughter, Vickie, and a son, Dennis, both at home; also two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy CALHOUN, Oskaloosa, and Mrs. Warren PECH, Fairfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
