WILLIAM "BILL" ARNOLD
Harrisburg, Nebraska

William "Bill" ARNOLD, 72, of Harrisburg (Banner County), Nebraska, passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023 at Regional West Medical Center with his family by his side.

Bill was born on March 5, 1951 in Fairfield, Iowa to Roger M and Pearl ARNOLD. He received his early education in Brighton Elementary School, graduating from Washington High School and attended Muscatine Junior College and University of Northern Colorado.

Bill married Nancy CAMPBELL on August 4, 1983 in Fort Collins, Colorado. They lived in Colorado from 1972 to 1993, where he was a hired man from 1972-1980. He later worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as a Signal man from 1980-1983. He returned to farm work in Colorado in 1983.

They moved to Cheyenne, Wyoming in 1993 where he worked on a bison ranch. In the autumn of 1993 they moved to Nebraska. He worked for Noel Alexander near Potter, Nebraska until March of 1994. On April 1, 1994 they moved to Banner County, Nebraska where he worked for Leo Hoehn until his death on September 21, 2023.

He is survived by his wife Nancy ARNOLD; stepson Joshua DALTON and granddaughter Teghan DALTON, both of Coatesville, Pennsylvania; sisters Sally OGDEN of Watkins, Colorado and Mary ARNOLD of Deer Trail, Colorado.

Bill was preceded in death by his brothers Robert and Thomas ARNOLD and his parents.

Services will be held at a later date. Memorials may be given in care of Nancy ARNOLD to be designated at a later date. Condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Dugan Kramer Funeral Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
