Page EIGHT, Columns 1 and 2EDITH GAUMER DIES SUDDENLY
Mrs. Edith GAUMER, 69, widow of the late Dr. Archie W. GAUMER, former local resident, passed away suddenly yesterday evening at her home in Quncy, Ill. She had been in poor health for some time.
Edith ANSCHUTZ was born in Keokuk, and following her marriage to Dr. GAUMER, brother of Dr. J. S. GAUMER and Miss Bessie BAUMER of this city, resided in Bloomfield where her husband practiced dentistry. He served in World War I and a year later passed away in Quincy where he and Mrs. GAUMER had gone for a visit.
She was employed for a number of years here with the McLaughlin Furniture Company, and later in Quincy when the McLaughlins moved the store there.
Funeral services are pending. It is thought burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery by the side of her husband.

Brief graveside services conducted by S. P. Williamson, pastor of the First Christian church, were held Sunday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery for Mrs. Edith GAUMER, 69, widow of the late Dr. Archie W. GAUMER, who passed away suddenly Thursday evening at her home in Quincy, Ill.
Casket bearers were Harvey GAUMER, Frank Terrell, Fred Fulton, W. H. Parkin, Dr. F. S. Bonnell, and Gus Schillerstrom. Burial was beside her husband who preceded her in death a year following the end of World War I(.)
Among the out of town relatives and friends in attendance were her sister, Mrs. Louise ERMELING, Chicago; Mrs. and Mrs. Ernest BRENIMAN, Brooklyn, Ia.; Dr. R. R. GAUMER Mrs. Ensley, and Mrs. Paultier of Galesburg, Ill.; and Mesdames H. A. Genteman, Condron, Menke and Mrs. Charles Hufstedt all of Quincy.
