Mrs. GARMOE, 83, Taken In Death

Mrs. Mabel B. GARMOE, 83, 1007 S. Main St., died Wednesday at 6:33 p.m. at the Jefferson County Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past month.

Services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Wilson Hyde officiating. Burial wil be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. GARMOE was born May 29, 1888 near Burlington, the daughter of Thornton and Louvarie OWENS STEPHENS. She was reared and educated at Burlington.

She was married March 6, 1911 to Carl E. GARMOE. He preceded his wife in death May 6, 1969. Mrs. GARMOE was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Rebekah Lodge No. 386 and L.E.A.

Surviving are two children: Earl GARMOE, Fairfield; and Mrs. Ted PLOWMAN, Douds. Three grandchildren also survive. Two children and four brothers preceded her in death.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Mabel B. GARMOE, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate of Mabel B. GARMOE Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 5th day of October, 1971, the last Will and Testament of Mabel B. GARMOE deceased bearing date of the 14th day of May, 1956, was admitted to probate in the above named Court and that Earl E. GARMOE and Ruth E. PLOWMAN were appointed executors of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said Will must be brought in the District Court of said County within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the Clerk of the above named District Court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
