MRS. GANTZ DIED AT FT. MADISON
Former Fairfield woman Passed Away This Morning At Sister's Home

Mrs. Sarah CAMPBELL GANTZ, formerly of Fairfield, passed away this morning at 2 o'clock at the home of her sister Mrs. Mercia EVERETTS at Ft. Madison (note: in Lee Co., IA). The remains will arrive in Fairfield tomorrow noon and will be immediately taken to Evergreen cemetery where a short funeral service will be held.

Although Mrs. GANTZ has been ill for the past seven months her condition was not considered serious until about a week ago and her death was caused by a complication of diseases.

The following relatives survive her, Al PETERS of Abingdon, a brother; Mrs. Mercia EVERETTS of Ft. Madison, a sister and Mrs. Cynthia CLARK of Mt. Pleasant ,a (sic) step sister.

Mrs. GANTZ was very well known in Fairfield, she having spent her entire life here until a few years ago when she went to Ft. Madison to live with her sister.

GANTZ REMAINS LAID TO REST IN EVERGREEN

The body of Mrs. Sarah CAMPBELL GANTZ, who died yesterday morning at the home of her sister in Ft. Madison arrived in Fairfield this noon and was immediately taken to Evergreen cemetery where a short funeral service was held and the remains laid to rest.

MRS. GANTZ DIES AT HOME OF SISTER IN FT. MADISON MONDAY

Short funeral services were held yesterday over the remains of Mrs. Sarah GANTZ, who died Monday at the home of her sister, Mrs. EVERETTS, at Ft. Madison.

Mrs. GANTZ was a lifelong resident of Fairfield until in recent years, when she went to Ft. Madison to make her home with her sister. She has been ill for almost a year, and death is the result of a complication of diseases. Albert PETERS, of Abingdon, is a brother.
