Terry L. SEPTER, 73, of Lockridge, passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2022, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City (note: in Johnson Co., IA).

Terry was born on December 30, 1948, in Mt. Pleasant, the son of Carl V. and Virginia (AVERY) SEPTER. He graduated from Fairfield High School with the class of 1967. Terry was united in marriage to Diane FREY on October 16, 1969.

He worked for Fairfield Manufacturing until they closed and then started working for Smithburg Auto in Lockridge. Terry enjoyed his classic Chevrolet cars, NASCAR racing, western movies, and his dogs.

He is survived by his wife, Diane, of 53 years; his brothers and sisters, Tom (Tina) SEPTER, Judy APLARA, Doug SEPTER, Brian SEPTER and Carla SEPTER (Doug Dye), all of Lockridge, along with several nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents and his daughter in infancy, Angela Kay SEPTER.

According to his wishes, cremation has been entrusted to the care of Murphy Funeral Home of Mt. Pleasant and no services will be held at this time.
