F. FULTON dies At 85

Fred C. FULTON, 85, native of Jefferson County, died at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday at the Jefferson County Hospital where he was admitted at noon the same day.

Previously he had been a resident at the Parkview Care Center for a number of months.

Services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Karl Holtkamp officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Prayers for a Christian Wake will be recited at the Raymond Funeral Home at 8 p.m. Friday.

Fred C. FULTON was born July 20, 1892, in Jefferson County. He was the son of Charles and Frances THOMA FULTON.

He was employed at Thoma Glass Co. until 1936 and later served as custodian at the Washington Elementary School until his retirement in 1957.

His marriage to Anna A. KURKA took place Feb. 17, 1914, at St. Mary Catholic Church. His wife preceded him in death Aug. 1, 1971. He was also preceded in death by one son who died in 1976.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth KRETSINGER, Rockford, Ill.; and Mrs. Marjorie HANNAH, Fairfield; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
