Saturday rite for H. FULTON

Harold R. FULTON, 81, 106 N. Morgan St., died at 5:05 p.m. Wednesday, April 19, 1989, at Jefferson County Hospital.

The service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at Behner Funeral Home. Memorials have been established to First United Methodist Church, American Cancer Society and Jefferson County Hospice.

FULTON was born Nov. 26, 1907, in Fairfield, the son of Robert and Anna SCHIEBER FULTON. He married Dorothy WATSON April 4, 1936, at Edina, Mo. He lived his entire life in Jefferson County and graduated from Fairfield High School in 1927. He was a farmer in Cedar Township, Jefferson County, until retiring, and was a member of First United Methodist Church, IOOF No. 4, and Keep Young Club.

Surviving are his wife; six sons, Eugene, Larry, Roxie, all of Fairfield, Roger of New London, Dennis of Delta, Colo., Randy of Decorah; two daughters, Rose Ann FERREL of Fairfield, Joy MENZE of Hannibal, Mo.; 27 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Gertrude MYERS of Davenport and Wanda RICKERD of Lexington, Ky. Five sisters and a brother preceded him in death.
