Funeral Services To Be Held From SCHEIF (sic) Home Tomorrow AfternoonMrs. Emily Jane FRESHWATER, who fell and fractured her hip three weeks ago died this morning at 4:15 oclock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. George SCHLIEF, 800 West Grimes. The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the SCHLIEF home in charge of Rev. V. D. Melconian of the New Chicago Mission. Burial will take place in the Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. FRESHWATER is one of the older residents of this city having come to Fairfield, February 23, 1876. She was born February 7, 1840 in Carl county, Ohio, her maiden name being Emily Jane STINE. She is the widow of the late Archibald FRESHWATER. She leaves to mourn her death three sons and one daughter: William E. FRESHWATER, George W. FRESHWATER, James A. FRESHWATER and Mrs. Ellan M. SCHLEIF (sic - SCHLIEF), all of this city.

The funeral services for Mrs. Emily J. FRASHWATER (sic), who died early Wednesday morning, were held yesterday afternoon at 2:30 oclock from the home of her daughter Mrs. George SCHLEIF, 800 West Grimes. Rev. V. D. Melconian of the New Chicago Mission conducted the services in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. Miss Helen Boltz and Mrs. V. D. Melconian sang while Mrs. Oscar boltz played the accompaniment. Six grandsons of Mrs. FRESHWATER acted as pallbearers: William FRESHWATER, Glen FRESHWATER, Robert FRESHWATER, Thomas FRESHWATER, Harry FRESHWATER and Perry FRESHWATER. The remains were laid to rest in Evergreen cemetery.
