DEATH TAKES MISS FOWLER
Life Resident of County Passed Away Saturday; Rites Monday

Miss Catherine (sic) FOWLER 87, a life time resident of Jefferson county, passed away Saturday evening at the home of her brother, Samuel FOWLER, three miles northwest of Fairfield, afte (sic) a short illness.

Funeral services were held at 11 o'clock yesterday morning from the residence in charge of Rev. S. P. Williamson of the Fairfield Christian church. Interment in Evergreen cemetery.

Miss FOWLER was born and raised on the farm where she died. She was well known by the older residents of the county. She is survived by one sister Mrs. Frank HUSS of Afton Iowa and two brothers: Frank of Muscatine and Samuel of near Fairfield.
