... --Mr. and Mrs. B. F. FOWLER of Muscatine were called here yesterday by the serious illness of the former's sister, Miss Hannah FOWLER, 3½ miles northwest of the city. While in the city they visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Frank S. COOPER, 304 North Main street. ...

HANNAH FOWLER TAKEN BY DEATH
Died In the Same House She Was Born; Funeral Tomorrow At 2

Miss Hannah FOWLER, died this morning about 8 oclock at the old FOWLER homestead 3½ miles northwest of the city, where she was born 72 years ago after having been stricken with paralysis last Thursday and in a critical condition since.

The funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:00 oclock from the home in charge of Dr. Gilbert Voorhies of the Presbyterian church. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Miss FOWLER was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George FOWLER, both of whom are dead, and she ahs lived all her life at the old home. One brother Edward has preceded her in death. She is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Catherine, Samuel and Lizzie all at home, B. F. FOWLER of Muscatine and Mrs. Esther HUSS of Afton.

FOWLER FUNERAL HELD YESTERDAY
At 2 O'clock from the Home 3½ Miles Northwest Of The City

The last services for Miss Hannah FOWLER, who passed away Wednesday morning after being stricken with paralysis, were held yesterday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the FOWLER home, 3 1-2 miles northwest of the city. Dr. Gilbert Voorhies conducted the services in the presence of the many relatives and friends.

Mrs. Frank Pierson and Mrs. Arthur F. Greef sang two songs. Burial was made in Evergreen cemetery.

State of Iowa, Jefferson County, ss.

To All Whom It May Concern:

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and and (sic) Testalemt of Hannah FOWLER, Deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson county, and that Thursday, February 16th, A. D. 1928, at 9 oclock a.m., it being in Vacation of said court, has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Witness my hand and the seal of said Court this 21st day of January, 1928.
