Wade FLINSPACH Taken In Death; Service Monday

Wade Wesley FLINSPACH, 78, retired Jefferson County farmer, died at 7 a.m. today at his home at 54 N. Cromwell.

Last rites will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Bartruff and the Rev. Ross Winner officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

FLINSPACH was a farmer for 53 years. He was born in Jefferson County Feb. 21, 1894, the son of Fritz L. and Jennie GILBERT FLINSPACH. He was an outstanding athlete at Parsons College where he graduated in 1919.

FLINSPACH was married to Mary B. MILLER Aug. 21, 1921. She preceded him in death. On May 27, 1955 he was married to Florence LIGHT, who survives.

Also surviving are one son, Frederic M. FLINSPACH, Fairfield Route 4; four grandchildren and one sister, Eileen FLINSPACH, Bloomington, Ill. One sister is deceased.

FLINSPACH was a veteran of World War I, serving in the air branch of the Army Signal Corps.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church. He was a 32nd degree Mason and a 50-year member of Clinton Lodge No. 15, AF&AM and the Consistory. He was also a member of Kaaba Temple, the Fairfield Shrine Club, the American Legion and the Parsons College Football Hall of Fame.

A long-time member of the Fairfield Rotary Club, he served as president of that organization in 1955.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL, OF APPOINTMENT OF EXECUTOR, AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS

In The District Court Of The State Of Iowa In And For Jefferson County

In The Matter Of The Estate Of Wade W. FLINSPACH, Deceased.

To All Persons Interested In The Estate Of Wade W. FLINSPACH, Deceased:

You are hereby notified that on the 19th day of December, 1972, the Last Will and Testament of Wade W. FLINSPACH, deceased bearing date of the 31st day of March, 1950, was admitted to probate in the above named Court and that Frederick FLINSPACH was appointed executor of said estate.

Notice is further given that any action to set aside said Will must be brought in the District Court of said County within one year from the date of the second publication of this notice, or thereafter be forever barred.

Notice is further given that all persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned, and creditors having claims against said estate shall file them with the Clerk of the above named District Court, as provided by law, duly authenticated, for allowance; and unless so filed within six months from the second publication of this notice (unless otherwise allowed or paid) such claim shall thereafter be forever barred.
