Death Angel Visits the FLOWER Home

The Angel of Death stooped down and gently bore the spirit of Florence Fern FLOWER to its Maker Sunday afternoon at one o'clock.

Florence Fern was the younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlander FLOWER and was born in this city, September 4, 1891, where she spent her happy childhood. At school Fern was a bright and promising scholar and a universal favorite with her teachers and classmates.

Some three years ago she suffered from an attack of diphtheria, which left is mark upon this bright, young life. All that loving hands and tenderest care could do were without avail and Fern passed peacefully to her home on high, yesterday afternoon. Funeral services will occur tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, from the family home.

Death of Fern FLOWER.

Florence Fern, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando FLOWER, died in this city Sunday afternoon at about one o'clock, after an illness of several months. Miss FLOWER was born September 4th, 1891. She attended the High school until compelled to give up her studies because of ill health, and has made many friends among the young people because of her bright, cheerful disposition and christian character. Funeral services were conducted at the home Tuesday afternoon, Rev. Willis E. Parsons officiating. There are many friends of the family who will mourn the death of the daughter.

Little Fern FLOWER At Rest.

Sunday, about 1 o'clock p.m., Florence Fern, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando FLOWER, after a long illness, passed to rest. She was born in Fairfield Sept. 4, 1891, and all her young life has been spent here. The friends of the family sympathize with the bereaved ones in their hour of sorrow.

Funeral services were held at the home yesterday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock.
