R. C. FLINSPACH FUNERAL TODAY AT M. E. CHURCH
Well Known Jefferson Co. Farmer Died Suddenly Saturday Night

Robert C. FLINSPACH, prominent Jefferson county farmer living two miles north of Fairfield, died suddenly Saturday night from pneumonia, after a week's illness. He was summoned at his home.

Funeral services were held this afternoon from the Methodist church in Fairfield at 2:00 o'clock in charge of Dr. U. S. Smith. Burial was in the Evergreen cemetery.

Mr. FLINSPACH is survived by his wife and two children, Mrs. Wendell McCLEARY, and a daughter Bernice at home, and a granddaughter Joyce Ann McCLEARY. He is also survived by four brothers and three sisters. The brothers are Fred, Gus Ed and Frank, all well-known Jefferson county farmers. The sisters are Mrs. Anna THOMPSON of Brighton, Mrs. Lucy GORDON of Bennington, Nebr., and Mrs. Mamie GORDON of Spokane (sic - Washington State).

Mr. FLINSPACH was born April 14, 1879, and was 54 years, eight months, and sixteen days old. Aside from his family he leaves a large number of friends in this county.

State of Iowa, Jefferson County, ss.

To All Whom It May concern:

Notice is hereby given that an instrument, purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Robert C. FLINSPACH, deceased, is now on file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court of Jefferson County, and that Monday, February 15, A. D., 1934, at 9:30 o'clock a.m. has been set for proof and final hearing of same.

Witness my hand and the Seal of said Court, this 4th day of January, 1934.
