Mrs. FLINSPACH Taken In Death

Mrs. Bertha R. FLINSPACH, 87, member of a pioneer Jefferson county family, died Sunday at 10 a.m. at the Kennedy Nursing home in Mt. Pleasant (note: in Henry Co., IA). She had been in failing health for the past four years.

Mrs. FLINSPACH resided at 404 North B St. She had been a resident of Fairfield since 1942 when she moved from her farm home one and a half miles northeast of the city.

Services will be held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. at the Weston Behner Funeral home in charge of the Rev. James W. Dendler. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. FLINSPACH was born near Fairfield March 13, 1877, the daughter of Lafayette and Cynthia SPENCER COOP. She was married to Gus A. FLINSPACH Oct. 3, 1906. He preceded her in death Feb. 7, 1942.

Mrs. FLINSPACH was a member of the First Methodist church. She is survived by one sister, Myrtle COOP, Fairfield. One brother and four sisters are deceased.
