Ida FITZWATER dies at 96

Ida E. FITZWATER, 96, died at 5:35 p.m. Tuesday at the Parkview Care Center.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the Behner Funeral Home. The Rev. George W. Koch will officiate and burial wil be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Ida E. FITZWATER was born Sept. 20, 1888, in Germany. She was the daughter of August and Caroline GIESE. Her marriage to R.G. FITZWATER took place Oct. 10, 1943. He died May 15, 1974.

Mrs. FITZWATER lived on a farm near Four Corners for a number of years. She is survived by nieces.

Note: Ida was married twice; first to Edgar George HOCKETT in 1911 who died in 1933 and was buried in Evergreen Cemetery on Lot 2nd.273; second to R. G. FITZWATER with whom she is buried. Due to the odd lot assignments of the 4th Addition of Evergreen, Ida is in Lot 4th.193 and R. G. in Lot 4th.169, however they share the same headstone.
