Page 10, Column 4R. FISCHER Dies At 70
Robert F. FISCHER, a native of Jefferson County and a Fairfield businessman, died at his home, 104 S. Third, Wednesday afternoon of an apparent heart attack. He was 70 years of age.
Services will be Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the First Christian Church with the Rev. Ed Dorman officiating. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery. The casket will be taken from the Raymond Funeral Home to the church at 9 a.m. Saturday.
Members of the family will receive friends at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.
Robert F. FISCHER was born Feb. 8, 1907, in Fairfield. He was the son of Lawrence L. and Phoebe FARRELL (sic - FERREL) FISCHER.
He was reared and educated in Jefferson County, attended the Fairfield High School and lived his entire life in this community.
FISCHER had farmed for a number of years before he opened the Fischer Real Estate firm in Fairfield which he operated for 15 years. Currently he was employed part time as a security guard.
He was a member of the First Christian Church, and was serving as Noble grand of IOOF Lodge No. 4. He was also a member of the Fairfield Square Dance Club and the Keep Young Club.
His marriage to Mildred HIATT took palce (sic) Feb. 18, 1928, in Fairfield. She survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Virginia SCHUPICK, Burlington; two sons, Richard of Burlington and Ronald of Fairfield; eight grandchildren and a sister, Larue FLLEIG (sic - FLEIG), Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by one brother.

YOU ARE HEREBY NOTIFIED THAT ON THE 10TH DAY OF NOVEMBER, 1977, THE LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF ROBERT FISCHER, DECEASED, BEARING DATE OF THE 24TH DAY OF MAY, 1968, WAS ADMITTED TO PROBATE IN THE ABOVE NAMED COURT AND THAT MILDRED FISHCHER WAS APPOINTED EXECUTOR OF SAID ESTATE.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ANY ACTION TO SET ASIDE SAID WILL MUST BE BROUGHT IN THE DISTRICT COURT OF SAID COUNTY WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE DATE OF THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE, OR THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN THAT ALL PERSONS INDEBTED TO SAID ESTATE ARE REQUESTED TO MAKE IMMEDIATE PAYMENT TO THE UNDERSIGNED, AND CREDITORS HAVING CLAIMS AGAINST SAID ESTATE SHALL FILE THEM WITH THE CLERK OF THE ABOVE NAMED DISTRICT COURT, AS PROVIDED BY LAW, DULY AUTHENTICATED, FOR ALLOWANCE; AND UNLESS SO FILED WITHIN SIX MONTHS FROM THE SECOND PUBLICATION OF THIS NOTICE (UNLESS OTHERWISE ALLOWED OR PAID) SUCH CLAIM SHALL THEREAFTER BE FOREVER BARRED.
