DEATH TAKES MRS. FETZER

Mrs. Gerald (sic - Garold) FETZER, well known resident of Fairfield since 1932, passed away Saturday afternoon at the Jefferson county hospital after an illness of 15 months. Her death came at 4:15 p.m.

Last rites will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Presbyterian church with Dr. C. R. Douglass in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Marie L. FETZER, 40, was born May 5, 1909, at Lawrence, Kansas, the daughter of Clarence and Nina KING. She was reared and educated in Lawrence.

She was united in marriage on October 5, 1932, to Gerald FETZER. The wedding took place at Oskaloosa, Kansas. Soon after their marriage they came to Fairfield to make their home.

Mrs. FETZER was a member of the Tri T and the Presbyterian church.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her father, who resides in Lawrence, Kansas; and the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. G. I. HUTCHISON and Mrs. Charlie KETUCHEM, Lawrence, Kansas; Mrs. Fritz SCHUMAKER, Kansas City; Mrs. Dean WILSON, Wichita, Kansas; Lyle KING, Harold KING and Lester KING, all of Lawrence, Kansas.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that the undersigned has been duly appointed and qualified as Executor of the estate of Marie L. FETZER, deceased, late of Jefferson County. All persons indebted to said estate are requested to make immediate payment and those having claims against the same will present them within legal time, duly authenticated, to the undersigned, for allowance and file in the office of the Clerk of the District Court.
