Page 8, Column 4Homer L. FARMER Dies Suddenly
Homer L. FARMER, long-time resident of Fairfield, was found dead this morning at his home, 516½ Depot street. A neighbor went in his room to wake him about 6 a.m. and found his body.
Coroner Jack Raymond said it appeared as if he passed away Monday afternoon. His death was from natural causes according to Raymond.
Last rites will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Raymond funeral home with the Rev. J. Roland Crandall officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.
Homer L. FARMER was the son of James F. and Elizabeth Ann RODGERS FARMER. He was a member of the American Legion Post.
He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Ida GREEN and Ina FARMER, both of Sheridan, Wyo.; Mrs. Harry JOHNSON, Fairview, Ill.; Elizabeth FARMER, Fairfield; Harden FARMER, Ottumwa; Lou FARMER, Hannibal, Mo.; Sam and George FARMER, both of Fairfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Public Notice is hereby Given: That the undersigned has this day been appointed and commissioned by the District Court of Jefferson County, in the State of Iowa, administratrix of the estate of Homer L. FARMER, Deceased.
All persons having claims against said estate are hereby notified to file them with the Clerk of said Court clearly stated and duly sworn to, and within legal time, preparatory to their being allowed or proved, and persons owing said estate are requested to make immediate payment to the undersigned and avoid costs.
Dated at Fairfield, Iowa.
