Graveside services will be held here for Mrs. Florence FARMER native of Jefferson county and former well known resident of Fairfield.
Mrs. FARMER, 91, died at her home in Villisca and funeral services will be held there (note: in Montgomery Co., IA). Graveside services will be here at 1 p.m Friday in Evergreen cemetery.
Mrs. FARMER was the daughter of Michael and Sarah BAUM, born near Glasgow and later moved with her parents to Fairfield. She was married to J. F. (sic - James E.) FARMER of Stockport who preceded her in death several years ago.
She once operated a dressmaking establishment here and worked for many years at the J. C. Thorne store, one of the city's early leading stores.
Besides her husband, she was preceded ind eath by a sister, Mrs. Charles G. TAYLOR.
Survivors include a daughter, Mary Grace FARMER of Villisca and a cousin, Mrs. Ralph WHEATLEY of Fairfield.
