DEATH TAKES MRS. FARMER

Mrs. Joel FARMER, 81, resident of Fairfield for 64 years, died Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. at the Jefferson county hospital. She fell and broke her hip August 4 while living with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Nellie LARSON, 206 North Sixth street, and had been a patient at the hospital since.

Last rites will be held Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at the Hoskins funeral home with Dr. L. H. Scheerer in charge. Burial will be in Evergreen cemetery.

Ida Marie FARMER was born December 19, 1865, in Sweden, the daughter of the late Peter and Clara LARSON. She came to Fairfield when she was 17 years of age and had lived here since.

On June 10, 1910, she married Joel FARMER who preeded her in death in 1927. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Mrs. FARMER is survived by a brother, Gideon, LARSON, Rockford, Illinois; a nephew, R. Leonard LARSON, Iowa City; a niece, Mrs. Nina D. CAMP, Peoria, Illinois. Two brothers, August and Charles preceded her in death.

NOTICE OF PROBATE OF WILL
In District Court

STATE OF IOWA,
JEFFERSON COUNTY, ss.

To All Whom It May Concern:

You Are Hereby Notified, That an instrument of writing purporting to be the last Will and Testament of Ida FARMER, Deceased dated June 5, 1945 having been this day filed, opened and read, Saturday the 28th day of December, 1946, is fixed for hearing proof of same at the Court House in Fairfield, Iowa, before the District Court of said County, or the Clerk of said Court; and at 9:30 o'clock A. M., of the day above mentioned all persons interested are hereby notified and required to appear, and show cause, if any they have, why said instrument sould not be probated and allowed as and for the last Will and Testament of said deceased.

Dated at Fairfield, Iowa, December 2, 1946.
