Glenn E. EYESTONE

Glenn E. EYESTONE, 78, 3113 Florida NE, Albuquerque, N.M., died at 5:18 a.m. Saturday, July 28, 1990, at his home.

A graveside service will be held at Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Larry Nelson officiating. Family visitation will be 7 to 8 tonight at Behner Funeral Home.

EYESTONE was born Dec. 30, 1911, in Libertyville, the son of Zane and Laura Belle ARMSTRONG EYESTONE. In 1930, he graduated from Libertyville High School, where he played basketball. He later played on community baseball teams. He married Elizabeth GILBERT Nov. 24, 1938, at Fort Riley, Kan. He was a farmer in Jefferson County from 1940 to 1959 and raised registered Hereford cattle. He was a member of Anticoch (sic) United Church of Christ. The family moved to New Mexico in 1959, where he worked for Vinnell Corporation at Thoreau and for Cineza Oil Refinery near Gallup.

Surviving are his wife; a son, David of Albuquerque; a daughter, Carolyn Ann CRAWFORD of Albuquerque; a foster daughter, Wanda Hockett of Colton, S.D.; five grandchildren; one stepgrandchild; a brother, Raymond of Albuquerque; two sisters, Dorothy HINEY of Des Moines and Helen M. SCHNEIDER of Oshkosh, Wis.
