E. EYESTONE dies at 97

Ethel EYESTONE, 97, former Fairfield resident, died Saturday at an Osage nursing home (note: in Mitchell Co., IA). Her husband, Floyd, preceded her in death.

Surviving are one daughter, Pauline WERNER of Rock Island, Ill.; one son, Bernard EYESTONE of Riceville; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be Wednesday, 2 p.m., at Evergreen Cemetery. Champion Funeral Home in Osage is in charge of arrangements.
