EYESTONE Rites Here Saturday

Mrs. Bernard EYESTONE, 49, wife of a former Fairfield resident, died Wednesday at the Allen Memorial hospital in Waterloo (note: in Black Hawk Co., IA). She had been ill for the past 1½ years.

Services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. in the First Methodist church in Waterloo. The casket will be brought to Fairfield where a graveside service will be held Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in Evergreen cemetery. The services will be in charge of Dr. Floyd L. Hinshaw, pastor of the church in Waterloo.

Mrs. EYESTONE was born March 20, 1915, in Moline, Ill., the daughter of Adolph and Viola ANDERSON LARSON. Her parents now reside at Olds, Iowa.

She was graduated from the Washington High Schol, and united in marriage to Bernard EYESTONE on July 24, 1935. The marriage took place in Washington.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. EYESTONE is survived by one sone (sic) John D., of Kenosha, Wis.; her parents; and a sister, Mrs. Merle McBURNEY, Cedar Rapids.

Note: Buried in Lot 4th.097. Husband Bernard subsequently remarried, to Jessie LAUMAN, died in Houston, TX, in 2005, and was returned to Fairfield for burial with Marian.
