Miss Lake EMERY (sic) Passes Away In Washington, D. C.

Mr. and Mrs. William Wells received word this morning of the death of Miss Lake EMERY in Washington, D. C.

No funeral arrangements have been made. Relatives and friends of Miss EMERY will arrive from Washington on Tuesday evening.

Miss EMERY was born in Brighton the daughter of the late Thomas EMERY. The family afterwards moved to the southeastern part of Fairfield. They moved to Washington, D. C. some 10 or 15 years ago where Miss EMERY and a sister were employed in governmental offices.

Miss Lake EMRY Services Will Be Thursday

Funeral services for Miss Lake M. EMRY will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Hoskins Funeral Home in charge of the Rev. William R. Yingling. Interment will be in Evergreen cemetery.

... --Mrs. Margaret EMRY and daughter Miss Elizabeth EMRY will leave this week for their home in Washington, D. C., after attending the services for their daughter and sister, Miss Lake EMRY. The EMRYs have been visiting with friends and relatives in Fairfield and Pleasant Plain.
