Alice EMMACK dies at 83

Alice M. EMMACK, 83, longtime resident of the Fairfield Community, died at 3:50 a.m. today at Parkview Care Center.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Raymond Funeral Home with the Rev. Clair Odell officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Parkview Activity Fund.

Alice M. EMMACK was born Oct. 28, 1901, in Iowa. She was the daughter of Harley and Anna RODIBAUGH JOHNSTON. She lived her entire life in the Fairfield Community.

She was married to Leo E. EMMACK March 6, 1926, in Ottumwa. He died April 21, 1977.

Surviving are two daughters; Dorothy WEBB, Batavia, and Bettye KANE, Little Rock, Ark.; three sons, Donale, Beuna Park, Calif.; Jerry, Kewanee, Ill.; and Dennis, Long Lake, Minn.

Other survivors include 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Charles JOHNSTON, Batavia.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. EMMACK was preceded in death by a daughter and a son.
